अष्टावक्र उवाचः
घटवत जगत, प्रकृति निःसृत आकाश वाट में अनंत है,
अतः इसके ग्रहण त्याग और लय में भी निश्चिंत है.-------१

में समुद्र सदृश्य हूँ, यह जग तरंगों तुल्य है,
अतः इसके ग्रहण, लय और त्याग का क्या मूल्य है.------२

सीपवत मैं हूँ यथा जग में रजत सम भ्रान्ति है,
अतः इसको ग्रहण लय न त्याग, ज्ञान ही, शान्ति है.------३

में आत्मा अद्वैत व्यापक , प्राणियों का मूल हूँ,
अतः इसके ग्रहण लय और त्याग में निर्मूल्य हूँ.------४

Ashtavakra said:

I am infinite like space, and the natural world is like a jar. To know

Alternatively, I am in all beings, and all beings are in me. To know
this is knowledge, and then there is neither renunciation, acceptance,
or cessation of it. 6.4
